Sam Wallander vs Cody Snedden

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Colin Daley Gym, Minneapolis,  taking place on 29/07/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Sam Wallander (6 - 0) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Cody Snedden(2 - 0 - 3) from Baltimore, USA.  Both Wallander and Snedden weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nathan Langer, and the three ringside judges are Brad Dey, Greg Pelle and Brad Dey.  

Round 1: 

Wallander steps inside and lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Wallander lands a right hook to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.  
Wallander is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Wallander lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Wallander finds the target with a jab.  
Wallander advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.

Snedden steps inside.  Wallander hits home with a right hook.  
Wallander lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Wallander finds the target with a solid jab.  
Wallander lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Wallander snaps his opponents head back with a solid jab.  
Wallander hits home with a left uppercut.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Snedden dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Wallander is on target with a firm right hook.  
Wallander steps inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Wallander clinches his opponent.  Wallander is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Wallander's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Wallander closes the distance and drives a right hook into Snedden's body.
