Onur Ulusoy vs Avel Mazur

Boxing Daily Report from the Ten Count Promotions promoted show at Hull Arena, Hull,  taking place on 03/08/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the IRBF Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Onur Back Ulusoy (17(16) - 1) who hails from Adana, Turkey and Avel Mazur(12(1) - 3(3)) from Lviv, Ukraine.  Both Ulusoy and Mazur weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fred Ruddock, and the three ringside judges are Daniel McPhillips, Alex Bean and Iain McClure.  

Round 1: 

Ulusoy hits home with a solid overhand right.  
Mazur drives a ramrod jab into his opponents face.  
Ulusoy stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Mazur is on target with a jab.  Mazur tries to land a left uppercut, but Ulusoy parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Mazur hits home with a cross.  
Mazur throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Ulusoy connects with a cross.  
Ulusoy is on target with a sharp left hook to Mazur's body.  
Ulusoy is on target with a left uppercut.  
Mazur gets on the inside.  Ulusoy lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Mazur closes the distance.  Ulusoy tries to land a left hook, but Mazur sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Mazur gets on the inside and attempts to land a left hook, but Ulusoy sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook.  
Ulusoy lands a cross to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Ulusoy tries to keep the action at long range.  Mazur attempts to land a cross, but Ulusoy parries the shot and counters with a FIERCE right hook.  MAZUR IS HURT!  Mazur recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Ulusoy steps away from his opponent.  Mazur attempts to land a jab, but Ulusoy dodges the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut to Mazur's ribs.  
Mazur lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Ulusoy closes the distance and lands three consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Ulusoy lands a jab to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Mazur manages to force Ulusoy onto the ropes.  Mazur drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Ulusoy lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Mazur walks Ulusoy down, trapping him on the ropes.  Mazur finds the target with a jab.  
Ulusoy lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Ulusoy sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a solid jab.  
Mazur finds the target with a jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Mazur's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Mazur's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Round 2: 

Ulusoy steps away from his opponent and lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Ulusoy lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Mazur quickly recovers. 
Mazur quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Ulusoy lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Ulusoy sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Ulusoy hits home with a sharp jab.  Ulusoy tries to land a left hook, but Mazur blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Ulusoy switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by  two straights to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Ulusoy tries to land a jab, but Mazur slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Mazur is on target with a solid left hook.  
Ulusoy stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Ulusoy lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND MAZUR IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 9.  
Mazur steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Ulusoy on the ropes.  Ulusoy SLAMS a VICIOUS right hook into his opponents face.  MAZUR IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  Mazur now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Mazur sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Mazur throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a hurtful cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE MAZUR WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Ulusoy steps to the outside.  Some sustained pressure from Ulusoy could be enough to finish Mazur!  Ulusoy lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES MAZUR!  The count reaches 10, but Mazur is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Ulusoy!
