Oliver Daw vs Bryn Jones

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Saint Paul Weatherley, Saint Paul,  taking place on 25/07/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Oliver Daw (1 - 0) who hails from Houston, USA and Bryn Jones(0 - 2) from Portland, USA.  Both Daw and Jones weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Zachary Mattus, and the three ringside judges are Greg Pelle, Ian Soderberg and Phil Bertel.  

Round 1: 

Daw is on target with a left uppercut.  
Daw closes the distance and forces Jones to back into the corner.  Daw pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Daw gets on the inside.  Daw pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
Daw steps inside and hits home with a left hook.  
Daw sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a jab.

Daw lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Daw gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Daw tries to land a right hook, but Jones blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Daw closes the distance.  Daw pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Daw is on target with a solid cross to his opponents body.  
Daw closes the distance and connects with a right hook.  
Jones is looking to keep his distance and tries to land a cross, but Daw parries the shot and counters with a cross.

Jones's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Jones's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
