Boxing Daily Report from the Elliot Britton promoted show at Marriott Hotel, Bristol,  taking place on 23/07/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Phil McCort (5 - 0) who hails from London, UK and Poel Van de Kerckhove(4 - 3 - 2) from The Hague, Netherlands.  McCort weighed in at 241 pounds and 5 ounces, while Van de Kerckhove weighed in at 245 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Eric McDermott, and the three ringside judges are Robert Hill, Sammy Farrell and Joel Lowry.

McCort gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  McCort attempts to land a left uppercut, but Van de Kerckhove sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to McCort's body.  
McCort hits home with a right hook.  
Van de Kerckhove steps to the outside.  McCort circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Van de Kerckhove throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.
