Bilal Abu vs Rehan Farooq

Boxing Daily Report from the Katusha Promotions promoted show at Petaling Jaya Zia, Petaling Jaya,  taking place on 26/07/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Malaysia-Selangor Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV3, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bilal Abu (11 - 5) who hails from Shah Alam, Malaysia and Rehan Farooq(9 - 6 - 3) from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.  Abu weighed in at 115 pounds, while Farooq weighed in at 114 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ibrahim Khalaf, and the three ringside judges are Danyaal Amer, Sajid Bari and Adnan Faris.  

Round 1: 

Abu is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.
