Jose Riso vs Carlos Tibayan

Boxing Daily Report from the Poku Promotions promoted show at Calamba Cobian, Calamba,  taking place on 07/08/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Philippines-Laguna Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jose Riso (10 - 0 - 2) who hails from San Pablo, Philippines and Carlos Tibayan(4 - 6 - 1) from San Pedro, Philippines.  Riso weighed in at 115 pounds, while Tibayan weighed in at 114 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Luis Asuncion, and the three ringside judges are Diego Duma-og, Onofre Tagle and Juan Palacay.
