Eddy Schroyens vs Guust Wallyn

Boxing Daily Report from the Cestrian promotions promoted show at Albinus Aernouds Gym, Amsterdam,  taking place on 31/07/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Eddy Schroyens (4 - 4) who hails from The Hague, Netherlands and Guust Wallyn(6 - 10(1)) from Utrecht, Netherlands.  Both Schroyens and Wallyn weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Boele Van Gassele, and the three ringside judges are Francies Scholliers, Helmus Ghyselins and Colbrant Wendens.  

Round 1: 

Wallyn feints a right hook, and then throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Wallyn steps inside and walks Schroyens down, trapping him on the ropes.  Wallyn drives a left uppercut into Schroyens's body.  
Wallyn advances into close range.  Wallyn quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Wallyn throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.
