Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Canterbury promoted show at Ray Stokes Hall, Christchurch,  taking place on 27/07/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Joshua Gilfillan (15(1) - 1) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Rob Lawson(11 - 2 - 1) from Waitakere, New Zealand.  Both Gilfillan and Lawson weighed in at 160 pounds.
