Sam Watters vs Peter Doe

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Canterbury promoted show at Christchurch Ewan, Christchurch,  taking place on 27/07/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the New Zealand-Canterbury Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sam Watters (8 - 2) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Peter Doe(14 - 4) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Both Watters and Doe weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Clint Cattell, and the three ringside judges are Ian Fergerson, Dave Sprouse and Mike Muncie.
