Cipriano Olguin vs Besart Sevgi

Boxing Daily Report from the RJM Boxing promoted show at Tirana Logoreci, Tirana,  taking place on 05/07/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Cipriano Olguin (3 - 0) who hails from Barranquilla, Colombia and Besart Sevgi(0 - 2) from Tirana, Albania.  Olguin weighed in at 108 pounds, while Sevgi weighed in at 107 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Damaskinos Rrustemi, and the three ringside judges are Erjon Gecaj, Dritan Prela and Edi Renda.  

Round 1: 

Olguin walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Olguin lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Olguin steps inside.  As Olguin tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Sevgi dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Olguin lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Olguin gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by two right hook's to the body.  
Olguin lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Olguin is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Olguin lands a right hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Olguin.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Sevgi goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Olguin to the neutral corner.  He warns Sevgi that he could be heading for a point deduction.  
Sevgi drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Olguin lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Sevgi's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Olguin advances into close range and lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Olguin clinches his opponent.  Olguin pushes his forearm into Sevgi's face.  The referee warns Olguin and breaks the clinch.  
Olguin is looking to close the distance and drives a left hook into Sevgi's body.  
Olguin sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Olguin closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Olguin holds on to his opponent.  Olguin pushes his forearm into Sevgi's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Olguin to stop fouling.

Sevgi throws a right hook, but Olguin holds on to his opponent.  Olguin leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Olguin's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
