Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Club de boxe de l'est, Montreal,  taking place on 03/08/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are James Shand (7(2) - 0) who hails from Toronto, Canada and Alen Jamieson(4 - 13) from Markham, Canada.  Both Shand and Jamieson weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Mabon, and the three ringside judges are Nicholas Prior, Sinjon Bellanger and Verrier Luna.

Jamieson now seems to have got his legs back.

You can sense Jamieson is getting frustrated in there.    He throws a hook, and catches Shand low!  The ref doesnt appear to have noticed the foul and signals for the action to continue.

Shand is looking to keep his distance and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Jamieson almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Shand tries to keep the action at long range and lands two jabs to the body, and one to the head.  
Shand connects with a sharp cross.  
Shand lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Shand lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Shand switches the action to the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Jamieson sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Shand lands with a hard jab.  Jamieson looks like he is out on his feet here...he's unable to defend against these shots!.  He gets hit again flush, and the ref steps in!  He's seen enough!  The winner by TKO is Shand!
