Yoshi Okamura vs Kyo Konda

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Tokyo Big Sight, Tokyo,  taking place on 20/07/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Yoshi Okamura (2 - 0) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Kyo Konda(6 - 11(1) - 4) from Tokyo, Japan.  Okamura weighed in at 228 pounds and 10 ounces, while Konda weighed in at 239 pounds and 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Isamu Nonaka, and the three ringside judges are Kaede Tsuchida, Dai Fujita and Kaede Toyama.

Konda sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Okamura lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Konda tries to step out of his opponents range.  Okamura hits home with an overhand left.  
Konda pivots to the side of his opponent.  Konda attempts to land a left uppercut, but Okamura parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Okamura lands a right uppercut.  
Konda is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Konda sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Okamura lands a jab to Konda's body.
