Montana Villagran vs Alejandro Escarcega

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Paraguay-Asuncion promoted show at Ocean Club Py, Asuncion,  taking place on 29/07/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Paraguay Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports Latin America, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Montana Villagran (14 - 2 - 3) who hails from Asuncion, Paraguay and Alejandro Escarcega(8 - 2) from Asuncion, Paraguay.  Both Villagran and Escarcega weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rodrigo Gordillo, and the three ringside judges are Montel Macias, Ivan Chino and Eduardo Lugar.
