Cruz Castaneda vs Xabat Portales

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Philippines-South Cotabato promoted show at Addy Gym, General Santos,  taking place on 29/07/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Philippines-South Cotabato Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IBC, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cruz Castaneda (8 - 0) who hails from General Santos, Philippines and Xabat Portales(6 - 0) from General Santos, Philippines.  Both Castaneda and Portales weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Dalao, and the three ringside judges are Cipriano Ouano, Zelipe Okala and Gabriel Miron.
