Quaddus Kaunda vs Andrija Pešut

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel, Aarhus,  taking place on 01/08/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Quaddus Kaunda (7 - 0) who hails from Lusaka, Zambia and Andrija Pešut(5 - 9) from Zagreb, Croatia.  Both Kaunda and Pešut weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nils Clasen, and the three ringside judges are Canute Bolding, Ib Borum and Filip Wind.  

Round 1: 

Pešut finds the target with a jab.  
Kaunda closes the distance and lands a stinging left uppercut.  Kaunda holds on to his opponent.  Kaunda is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Kaunda to stop fouling.  
Kaunda connects with a sharp left hook.  
Pešut throws a left hook, but Kaunda clinches his opponent.  Kaunda leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Pešut steps away from his opponent.  Kaunda hits home with a cross.  
Kaunda quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Kaunda pivots from in front of his opponent and connects with a right uppercut.  
Kaunda gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Kaunda holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks Kaunda's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Pešut.  That has caused bad swelling  around the left eye.

Kaunda pivots to the left of his opponent.  Pešut tries to land a right uppercut, but Kaunda dodges the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.
