Boxing Daily Report from the Quick Tan Promotions promoted show at Suncoast Casino, Durban,  taking place on 26/07/2024:

Clearly Quick Tan Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Shevon Phaahla (7 - 0) who hails from Tembisa, South Africa and Kaleb Adalimortty(2 - 2 - 2) from Accra, Ghana.  Both Phaahla and Adalimortty weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ebi Muthambi, and the three ringside judges are Khalon Cardoso, Thuso Ledwaba and Lehlohonolo Cardoso.  

Round 1: 

Adalimortty is looking to close the distance and attempts to land a left hook, but Phaahla slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Phaahla quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Adalimortty throws a left hook, but Phaahla ties up his opponent.  Adalimortty uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Phaahla behind the head. The referee warns Adalimortty and breaks the clinch.  
Phaahla steps inside and lands two left hooks followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Phaahla quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.

The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
