Dong-jun Koh vs Mitsuru Maekawa

Boxing Daily Report from the Nottinggham Promotions promoted show at Keiichi Nagai Gym, Sendai,  taking place on 01/08/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dong-jun Koh (6 - 0) who hails from Changwon, South Korea and Mitsuru Maekawa(2 - 5) from Toyota, Japan.  Both Koh and Maekawa weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Satoru Oyama, and the three ringside judges are Mitsuru Asano, Mitsuru Asano and Satoru Oyama.  

Round 1: 

Koh closes the distance and hits home with a right hook.  
Maekawa switches the action to the outside.  Koh sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a cross.
