Seth Torrance vs Paul Isaac

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Iowa promoted show at Des Moines Civic Center Stoner Theater, Des Moines,  taking place on 02/08/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Mid West Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Seth Torrance (10(2) - 3(1)) who hails from Cedar Rapids, USA and Paul Isaac(9 - 5(1) - 2) from Des Moines, USA.  Both Torrance and Isaac weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Charles Mains, and the three ringside judges are Colin Dickins, Vincent Bathgate and Amon Stackpoole.  

Round 1: 

Torrance pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Torrance walks Isaac down, trapping him on the ropes.  Torrance lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  

Torrance is on target with a stinging right hook to Isaac's ribcage.  
Torrance lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Torrance is looking to close the distance and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Isaac steps to the outside.  Torrance connects with a sharp cross.  Torrance throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Torrance sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Torrance lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Torrance lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Isaac throws a left hook, but Torrance holds on to his opponent.  Torrance uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Isaac behind the head. 
Torrance lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  
Torrance lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Torrance is on target with a stinging right uppercut.  
Torrance finds the target with a jab.  
Torrance is on target with a firm left hook.  
Torrance lands a firm left uppercut.  
Torrance steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Torrance sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Isaac throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Isaac's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Isaac's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Round 2: 

Torrance lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Torrance holds on to his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  Torrance tries to land a right uppercut, but Isaac sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Isaac pivots to the right of his opponent.  Isaac attempts to land a cross, but Torrance blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Isaac's body.  
Torrance connects with a sharp left hook.  
Isaac is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Torrance sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Isaac throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Torrance gets on the inside.  Isaac pivots to the left of his opponent.  Torrance lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Torrance is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Torrance lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, DROPPING ISAAC TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  
Torrance lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  It looks like Isaac has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Torrance advances into close range and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Torrance lands a jab.  
Isaac drives a cross into his opponents body.  
Torrance cuts off the ring, trapping Isaac in the corner.  Torrance lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Torrance clinches his opponent.  Torrance pushes his forearm into Isaac's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Isaac recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Torrance lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Torrance connects with a sharp cross.  
Torrance gets on the inside.  Isaac pivots to the right of his opponent.  Torrance is on target with a sharp right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Isaac's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.

Torrance quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Isaac connects with a cross.  
Torrance is looking to close the distance.  Torrance pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Torrance manages to force Isaac into the corner.  Torrance hits home with a firm left hook.  
Torrance feints a jab, and then attempts to land a left hook, but Isaac blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Torrance stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Isaac tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a MASSIVE right hook.  ISAAC WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Isaac almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Torrance is on target with a cross.  
Torrance closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Torrance lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Torrance dabs at his face checking for damage.  Isaac almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Torrance lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Isaac almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Torrance closes the distance.  Isaac pivots to the side of his opponent.  Torrance lands a double left hook to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Isaac quickly recovers.
