Petro Murin vs Vikenti Krisko

Boxing Daily Report from the Ado Promotions promoted show at Luka Stepushkin Gym, Kharkiv,  taking place on 02/08/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ukraine-Kharkiv Oblast Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Petro Murin (1 - 8 - 5) who hails from Kharkiv, Ukraine and Vikenti Krisko(4 - 9 - 1) from Kharkiv, Ukraine.  Both Murin and Krisko weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fedor Volosin, and the three ringside judges are Oleksiy Kitko, Oleksiy Kitko and Vitali Ivanowski.  

Round 1: 

Krisko hits home with a left hook.  
Murin tries to keep the action at long range.  Murin feints a left hook, and then lands a straight 1 - 2.

Krisko advances into close range and walks his opponent into the corner.  Murin throws a right hook, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Murin holds on to his opponent.  Murin uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Krisko behind the head. 
Krisko is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.

Krisko advances into close range and manages to force Murin onto the ropes.  Murin is on target with a left hook.  
Krisko walks Murin down, trapping him in the corner.  Krisko lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Krisko throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Murin to the neutral corner.  He lectures Krisko but does not take away a point.  
Murin lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Murin is looking to keep his distance.  Krisko throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Krisko cuts off the ring, trapping Murin on the ropes.  Murin tries to land a left hook, but Krisko blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.

Krisko quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Krisko lands a right hook.  Murin holds on to his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Murin hits home with a left hook.  
Krisko pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Murin is on target with a left hook.  
Krisko drives a right hook into Murin's body.  
Krisko walks his opponent onto the ropes.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Murin dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Murin is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Murin feints a left, and then throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Krisko closes the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Murin in the red corner.  Krisko connects with a left hook.  
Krisko drives a left hook into Murin's ribs.
