Yakiv Rudy vs Wasyl Markowski

Boxing Daily Report from the Kpegah Promotions promoted show at Zaporizhia Wujek, Zaporizhia,  taking place on 02/08/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Ukraine-Zaporizhia Oblast Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Yakiv Rudy (12 - 3) who hails from Melitopol, Ukraine and Wasyl Markowski(11 - 0) from Zaporizhia, Ukraine.  Rudy weighed in at 244 pounds and 10 ounces, while Markowski weighed in at 227 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Vanko Holub, and the three ringside judges are Apostol Sklar, Ioakim Andrick and Vasyl Bartosh.
