Gianluigi Quagliata vs Mel Housler

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Achilles Centre, Albany,  taking place on 01/08/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-New York State Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gianluigi Quagliata (11 - 5) who hails from New York City, USA and Mel Housler(5 - 4 - 3) from New York City, USA.  Both Quagliata and Housler weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Chisolm, and the three ringside judges are Mike Robb, Ben Hopkins and Rob Abbey.

Housler steps to the outside.  Housler sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Quagliata connects with a cross.
