Wen Waung vs George Fairweather

Boxing Daily Report from the AL Promotions promoted show at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, San Francisco,  taking place on 23/08/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Wen Waung (14(8) - 0 - 1) who hails from Harbin, China and George Fairweather(10 - 2) from Columbus, USA.  Both Waung and Fairweather weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Noah Rankin, and the three ringside judges are Will Ducat, Amon Scroggie and Sam Salvas.  

Round 1: 

Waung steps inside.  Waung pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a firm left hook to Fairweather's body.  
Waung lands with a solid jab.
