Boxing Daily Report from the Rooq Promotions promoted show at Rooq Gym, Kuala Lumpur,  taking place on 12/08/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Eddi Apriantono (8(1) - 0) who hails from Binjai, Indonesia and Kashif Hamdan(2 - 5 - 2) from Ipoh, Malaysia.  Apriantono weighed in at 107 pounds and 9 ounces, while Hamdan weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gazi Sinai, and the three ringside judges are Gazi Sinai, Rehman Saadeh and Rehman Saadeh.  

Round 1: 

Apriantono closes the distance and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  Apriantono clinches his opponent.  Apriantono pushes his forearm into Hamdan's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Apriantono about fouling.
