Behbud Iskenderov vs Sabuur Amartuvshin

Boxing Daily Report from the Sovietskii Box Promotions promoted show at Valeri Tetyukhin Gym, Irkutsk,  taking place on 19/07/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Behbud Iskenderov (4 - 0) who hails from Sumqayit, Azerbaijan and Sabuur Amartuvshin(0 - 2 - 3) from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.  Iskenderov weighed in at 129 pounds and 11 ounces, while Amartuvshin weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Marlen Chikalkin, and the three ringside judges are Lazar Khugayev, Melor Kabanov and Valeri Andryunin.  

Round 1: 

Iskenderov lands with a sharp jab.  
Iskenderov pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Iskenderov pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a solid right hook.  
Iskenderov is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Iskenderov pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Iskenderov steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Amartuvshin in the blue corner.  Iskenderov is on target with a right uppercut to Amartuvshin's body.  
Iskenderov sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a sharp right hook.  
Iskenderov pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Iskenderov sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Iskenderov quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Iskenderov lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Amartuvshin is on target with a cross.  
Iskenderov leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Amartuvshin steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Amartuvshin's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Amartuvshin's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Amartuvshin steps inside.  Iskenderov hits home with a right hook.  
Amartuvshin steps inside and tries to land a right hook, but Iskenderov dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Iskenderov closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Iskenderov is on target with a solid right hook.  
Iskenderov is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Iskenderov lands a jab.  
Iskenderov lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Iskenderov lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Amartuvshin sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Iskenderov lands a left hook to the head followed by two right hook's to the body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref steps in and separates the two fighters to check for damage.  Its not looking good!  The ref has ruled that the fight cannot continue due to the accidental damage.  As less than 4 rounds have been completed its going to be a no-contest!
