Bart Ronnie vs Scott Bowen

Boxing Daily Report from the Gore Promotions promoted show at Gore Gym, Boston,  taking place on 24/08/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bart Ronnie (8 - 1 - 1) who hails from Dallas, USA and Scott Bowen(3 - 3 - 5) from Moreno Valley, USA.  Ronnie weighed in at 147 pounds, while Bowen weighed in at 146 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Fred Reese, and the three ringside judges are Charles Keath, Peter Cooper and Hugh Hier.  

Round 1: 

Ronnie is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Bowen is on target with an overhand right.  
Bowen sidesteps to the left of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Bowen gets on the inside and manouvers Ronnie onto the ropes.  Bowen hits home with a left uppercut.  
Ronnie is looking to keep his distance.  Bowen attempts to land a jab, but Ronnie slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Bowen is on target with an overhand right.  
Ronnie sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Bowen lands a cross.  
Bowen lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Ronnie is on target with a left hook.  Ronnie tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Ronnie steps away from his opponent.  Bowen is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Ronnie is on target with a cross.  Ronnie attempts to land a jab, but Bowen sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Bowen connects with an overhand left.  Bowen attempts to land an overhand right, but Ronnie sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.
