Roger Riley vs Glynn Barron

Boxing Daily Report from the Awere Promotions promoted show at Roger Lang Gym, Lexington,  taking place on 02/08/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Roger Riley (7 - 0) who hails from New York City, USA and Glynn Barron(1 - 0) from Louisville, USA.  Riley weighed in at 153 pounds And 7 ounces, while Barron weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dave Stark, and the three ringside judges are Dave Stark, Mark Coppin and Patrick Carnegie.  

Round 1:

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Riley dabs at his face checking for damage.  Riley has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
