Ian Fowlie vs Dale Houp

Boxing Daily Report from the Baddog promoted show at Royal York Hotel, Toronto,  taking place on 20/08/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Ian Fowlie (6 - 0) who hails from Mississauga, Canada and Dale Houp(1 - 5 - 1) from Markham, Canada.  Fowlie weighed in at 168 pounds, while Houp weighed in at 167 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Chris Ruskin, and the three ringside judges are Jean-Baptiste Villon, Mark Nixon and Kian Clanahan.  

Round 1: 

Houp closes the distance.  Fowlie digs in a right uppercut to Houp's body.
