Felippe Buenrostro vs Amjad Mamund

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Safari Park Hotel, Nairobi,  taking place on 17/08/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the WRBC Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Felippe Buenrostro (14(9) - 0 - 1) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Amjad Mamund(15 - 2) from Lira, Uganda.  Buenrostro weighed in at 129 pounds and 13 ounces, while Mamund weighed in at 129 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Paul Changeywo, and the three ringside judges are Shaun Chelangat, Lee Rebelo and LeBron Naikuni.

Mamund gets on the inside.  Buenrostro is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Buenrostro lands a left hook followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  Mamund now seems to have got his legs back.
