Kook-young Rhee vs Yuichi Nakashima

Boxing Daily Report from the Sam Promotions promoted show at Takeshi Oda Gym, Fukuoka,  taking place on 23/08/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kook-young Rhee (6 - 0) who hails from Busan, South Korea and Yuichi Nakashima(0 - 4 - 4) from Himeji, Japan.  Both Rhee and Nakashima weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hiroki Sawa, and the three ringside judges are Yasushi Baba, Ryuu Komatsu and Daichi Sada.  

Round 1: 

Nakashima throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Rhee is on target with a right uppercut.

Rhee pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a sharp cross.
