Tevaughn Asamoah vs Sammy Mataka

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at African Gym, Johannesburg,  taking place on 22/07/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Tevaughn Asamoah (1 - 0) who hails from Umlazi, South Africa and Sammy Mataka(6 - 5 - 5) from Soshanguve, South Africa.  Asamoah weighed in at 242 pounds and 11 ounces, while Mataka weighed in at 227 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kyrone Letsholonyane, and the three ringside judges are Mahdi Jamin, Ubanwa Koranteng and Vuyisile Sekola.
