Sadikh Mardanov vs Rufat Nazir

Boxing Daily Report from the Njoroge Promotions promoted show at Baku Gaidarov, Baku,  taking place on 14/08/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Azerbaijan Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IQTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sadikh Mardanov (12 - 4 - 1) who hails from Baku, Azerbaijan and Rufat Nazir(9 - 0) from Baku, Azerbaijan.  Both Mardanov and Nazir weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Samad Farra, and the three ringside judges are Seyfulla Ismailov, Alesger Aslanov and Israfil Hajiyev.
