Montana Peixoto vs Xavier David

Boxing Daily Report from the Hansen Promotions promoted show at Joaquin Gularte Gym, Fortaleza,  taking place on 15/08/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Brazil-Ceara Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Montana Peixoto (10 - 8 - 1) who hails from Fortaleza, Brazil and Xavier David(5 - 5 - 5) from Fortaleza, Brazil.  Peixoto weighed in at 134 pounds and 8 ounces, while David weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Neper Saade, and the three ringside judges are Jair Cerqueira, Ximen Souva and Nicandro Montijo.  

Round 1: 

Peixoto strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Peixoto switches the action to the outside and tries to land a jab, but David sidesteps and counters with a right hook.
