Angel Barbas vs Rodrigo Corte

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Brazil-Rio Grande do Sul promoted show at Quito Rama Gym, Porto Alegre,  taking place on 15/08/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Brazil-Rio Grande do Sul Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Angel Barbas (4 - 14 - 1) who hails from Porto Alegre, Brazil and Rodrigo Corte(5 - 3 - 1) from Natal, Brazil.  Both Barbas and Corte weighed in at 139 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Selestino Porro, and the three ringside judges are Paco Formosa, Olindo Gabriel and Carlos Portal.  

Round 1: 

Corte drives a stinging jab into his opponents face.
