Chris Nivens vs Bart McCleese

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at Rattlesnake Gym, Arlington,  taking place on 25/07/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Chris Nivens (5 - 0) who hails from Cleveland, USA and Bart McCleese(1 - 3 - 2) from Raleigh, USA.  Both Nivens and McCleese weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rob Smith, and the three ringside judges are Andy Saenz, Noah Fergusson and Paul Speed.  

Round 1: 

Nivens lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Nivens manouvers McCleese into the corner.  Nivens drives a stinging right hook into his opponents body.

McCleese tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Nivens is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.
