Clint Melrose vs James Caven

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Royal ICC, Brisbane,  taking place on 17/08/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Australia Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Clint Melrose (13 - 2(1) - 1(NC)) who hails from Sydney, Australia and James Caven(12 - 1) from Sydney, Australia.  Melrose weighed in at 125 pounds and 10 ounces, while Caven weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Weir, and the three ringside judges are Sammy Feamster, Ian Corrie and John Taggart.
