Xeres Gabaldon vs Santiago Peron

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Colombia-Distrito Capital promoted show at Bogota Marciel, Bogota,  taking place on 16/08/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Colombia-Distrito Capital Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CARACOL, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xeres Gabaldon (9 - 3 - 3) who hails from Bogota, Colombia and Santiago Peron(10 - 4 - 5) from Bogota, Colombia.  Both Gabaldon and Peron weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jose Alba, and the three ringside judges are Vicente Marrero, Santiago Padron and Diego Barabas.
