Cipriano Grijalva vs Nemesio Carpio

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Cuba-Havana promoted show at Nemesio Villarroel Gym, Havana,  taking place on 16/08/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Cuba Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Cipriano Grijalva (5 - 7 - 1) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Nemesio Carpio(5 - 0) from Las Tunas, Cuba.  Grijalva weighed in at 121 pounds And 5 ounces, while Carpio weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alejandro Maria, and the three ringside judges are Ponce Barro, Fidel Serrano and Santiago Villano.  

Round 1: 

Carpio lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.
