Nasario Vejar vs Alvino Zarco

Boxing Daily Report from the Wonani Promotions promoted show at Guayaquil Tobon, Guayaquil,  taking place on 18/08/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ecuador Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Nasario Vejar (12 - 3) who hails from Quito, Ecuador and Alvino Zarco(12 - 4(2) - 2) from Guayaquil, Ecuador.  Both Vejar and Zarco weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Quico Gaytan, and the three ringside judges are Dario Ramirez, Pedro Siman and Diego Ramirez.  

Round 1: 

Zarco is on target with an overhand left.  
Vejar steps inside and digs in a sharp right hook to Zarco's body.  
Vejar is on target with a stinging left uppercut to Zarco's ribs.  
Vejar manouvers Zarco into a corner.  Vejar is on target with a right hook.
