Angel Coronel vs Montego Cain

Boxing Daily Report from the Nawanoma Promotions promoted show at Quito Metro, Quito,  taking place on 18/08/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ecuador Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Angel Coronel (12 - 5 - 1) who hails from Guayaquil, Ecuador and Montego Cain(14 - 2(1)) from Quito, Ecuador.  Coronel weighed in at 134 pounds and 2 ounces, while Cain weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hernan Alameda, and the three ringside judges are Cris Lainez, Rodrigo Guitron and Neper Cifuentes.  

Round 1: 

Cain lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Cain tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.
