Haider Amir vs Abdul Fathy

Boxing Daily Report from the Yarjanyan Promotions promoted show at Alexandria Kanan, Alexandria,  taking place on 18/08/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Egypt-Alexandria Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Modern Sport, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Haider Amir (9 - 4 - 3) who hails from Alexandria, Egypt and Abdul Fathy(11 - 0) from Alexandria, Egypt.  Both Amir and Fathy weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Asif Abdelnour, and the three ringside judges are Yasin Abdel-Shafy, Shayan Kassem and Amer Qazi.
