Angel Lares vs Rodrigo Escarcega

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Distrito Federal promoted show at Mexico City Villaflor, Mexico City,  taking place on 18/08/2024:

Clearly AI Mexico-Distrito Federal have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Distrito Federal Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Angel Lares (4 - 1) who hails from Mexico City, Mexico and Rodrigo Escarcega(3 - 5 - 2) from Mexico City, Mexico.  Lares weighed in at 105 pounds, while Escarcega weighed in at 104 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Montana Villasana, and the three ringside judges are Alejandro Marmol, Leonardo Ramon and Gonzalo Barillas.
