Ui-jo Choung vs Nao Katayama

Boxing Daily Report from the Carabetian Promotions promoted show at Kyoto University, Kyoto,  taking place on 19/08/2024:

Clearly Carabetian Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ui-jo Choung (7 - 0) who hails from Changwon, South Korea and Nao Katayama(5 - 3 - 1) from Shizuoka, Japan.  Both Choung and Katayama weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hikaru Mayeda, and the three ringside judges are Kei Katayama, Ichiro Mino and Hiroki Noda.  

Round 1: 

Choung steps inside.  Choung connects with a right hook.
