Merrill Beatrice vs Nicholas Perk

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Montreal's Gym, Montreal,  taking place on 17/08/2024:

Clearly Montreal's Top Gym have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Merrill Beatrice (1 - 0) who hails from Saskatoon, Canada and Nicholas Perk(1 - 0 - 1) from Winnipeg, Canada.  Both Beatrice and Perk weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jasper Kopa, and the three ringside judges are Bruce Hathorne, Granger Hinault and Aramis Duvauchelle.  

Round 1: 

Beatrice pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook.

Beatrice advances into close range.  Beatrice sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.
