Mel Kidd vs Alberto Traversa

Boxing Daily Report from the RJM Boxing promoted show at Tirana Olympic Park, Tirana,  taking place on 19/08/2024:

Clearly RJM Boxing have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RTSH Sport, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Mel Kidd (3 - 2(1)) who hails from Sheffield, UK and Alberto Traversa(2 - 7 - 3) from Rome, Italy.  Kidd weighed in at 239 pounds And 3 ounces, while Traversa weighed in at 222 pounds And 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Besim Kupi, and the three ringside judges are Ardian Dagdelen, Burim Gjinali and Erjon Incesu.  

Round 1: 

Kidd steps inside.  Traversa throws a left hook, but Kidd ties up his opponent.  Kidd is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
