Boxing Daily Report from the RJM Boxing promoted show at RJM Gym, Cambridge,  taking place on 30/07/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Hannigan (5 - 1) who hails from Sheffield, UK and Robert Owen(3 - 7) from Sheffield, UK.  Both Hannigan and Owen weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dillon Arbuckle, and the three ringside judges are Joey Weir, Edwyn Whitfield and Rob Barron.  

Round 1: 

Hannigan hits home with an overhand right.  
Hannigan lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Owen advances into close range and attempts to land a left hook, but Hannigan slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Owen's body.

Owen closes the distance.  Hannigan drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Hannigan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Owen tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Hannigan hits home with a sharp overhand left.  
Owen advances into close range and walks Hannigan down, trapping him on the ropes.  Hannigan throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  Hannigan holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Hannigan pushes his forearm into Owen's face.  The ref breaks Hannigan's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Hannigan switches the action to the outside and lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Hannigan feints a cross, and then is on target with a jab.  
Owen is looking to close the distance and manages to force Hannigan into a corner.  Owen connects with a left hook.
