Carlos Almas vs Cortez Sicilia

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Honduras-Cortes promoted show at San Pedro Sula Talavera, San Pedro Sula,  taking place on 21/08/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Honduras-Cortes Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Todo Deportes TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Carlos Almas (5 - 7 - 4) who hails from Choloma, Honduras and Cortez Sicilia(5 - 7 - 2) from Choloma, Honduras.  Both Almas and Sicilia weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Xaverius Tavera, and the three ringside judges are Francisco Millian, Vicente Mieras and Ulises Travieso.
