Amit Anand vs Ryo Okamoto

Boxing Daily Report from the Ekstein Promotions promoted show at Ryo Aoyama Gym, Fukuoka,  taking place on 23/08/2024:

Clearly Ekstein Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Amit Anand (5 - 0) who hails from Bangalore, India and Ryo Okamoto(10 - 5 - 3) from Kyoto, Japan.  Both Anand and Okamoto weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Satoshi Murata, and the three ringside judges are Naoki Matsumura, Hiroki Shimabukuro and Ryuu Komatsu.  

Round 1: 

Anand digs in a right hook to his opponents body.
