Jiro Tanabe vs Takeshi Morioka

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Fukuoka promoted show at ACROS Arena Hall, Fukuoka,  taking place on 23/08/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Fukuoka Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jiro Tanabe (12 - 2 - 1) who hails from Kurume, Japan and Takeshi Morioka(7 - 0) from Fukuoka, Japan.  Tanabe weighed in at 200 pounds, while Morioka weighed in at 199 pounds And 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Goro Koizumi, and the three ringside judges are Iwao Kusumoto, Ryo Hora and Akira Umemoto.
