Ryuu Koike vs Isamu Sugawara

Boxing Daily Report from the Glove Shack promoted show at Ota-City General Gymnasium, Tokyo,  taking place on 24/08/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Tokyo Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ryuu Koike (6 - 2(1) - 3) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Isamu Sugawara(3 - 1 - 1) from Machida, Japan.  Both Koike and Sugawara weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Keiichi Iida, and the three ringside judges are Hikaru Nakamura, Hideki Ishibashi and Hisao Yamane.
