Michi Machi vs Jun Shimomura

Boxing Daily Report from the Glove Shack promoted show at Ota-City General Gymnasium, Tokyo,  taking place on 24/08/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Tokyo Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michi Machi (8 - 8 - 2) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Jun Shimomura(16 - 4) from Tokyo, Japan.  Machi weighed in at 226 pounds and 4 ounces, while Shimomura weighed in at 242 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Hideki Ishibashi, and the three ringside judges are Hikaru Nakamura, Keiichi Iida and Hisao Yamane.  

Round 1:
